June 29, 2009: I really like this book. Honestly you could probably teach yourself how to do statistics without a class. It is very well explained, and the practice problems are great to help understand the concepts even better. I havn't used the CD yet, but I will once I begin studying for my exam.

October 25, 2008: This book can be difficult to follow, and very wordy. Not the easiest book to learn from.

I Also Recommend: Epidemiology for Public Health Practice, Essential Medical Statistics.
