September 13, 2009: Frommer's guide to travel in Israel is pretty up to date and savvy of the current state of affairs in the country. The only criticism I might have of the book is that it tends to be biased toward the non-Jewish sites and attractions. Also, I found 1 phone number that was incorrect.
Other than that, the descriptions in the book were helpful in assisting us to decide what places to visit and also what areas to avoid (Palistinian territory). The section that contains recommendations for accomodations is accurate as well.
