Biography

Karen Olson is a travel writerand former Chicago Tribune editor who lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, son, and three large dogs. She is the author of Frommer's Croatia.

Hana Mastrini is a native of the western Czech spa town of Karlovy Vary who became a veteran of the “Velvet Revolution” as a student in Prague in 1989. She is the author of Frommer's Prague & the Czech Republic.

Andrew Princz is a freelance culture and travel journalist/consultant who resides in Budapest and edits OnTheGlobe.com. He is the author of Frommer's Budapest & the Best of Hungary

Angela Charlton first went to Russia a few weeks after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, and spent the better part of the ensuing decade living and working there as a journalist. She was a Moscow-based correspondent for the Associated Press for six years, and is currently a freelance writer living in France. She is the author of Frommer's Moscow & St. Petersburg

Pippa de Bruyn was born in Durban, raised in Johannesburg, and has now settled in Cape Town.  She is also the a co-author of Frommer's India, Frommer's South Africa & Pauline Frommer's Italy.

Dr. Keith Bain has a doctoral degree in cinema. When he’s not traveling the world in search of fantastic experiences, he spends his time writing and lecturing about film, media, theater, and contemporary culture.
