November 11, 2009: Ms. Castro has the best inside view of the making and shaping of characters that made the Cuba of today. Who better than a direct sibling to discuss, dispel and confirm myths/truths about this family. She, like anyone else has her biases but there is no one better to talk about her family than she is. Her account is balanced as she seeks to provide a picture of Raul as both good and evil. She reveals many things about Fidel that are positive and negative. Her attempt to set the record straight from her perspective is admirable. As a Cuban, I find her story compelling, very human with virtues and faults and a great opportunity to have a better understanding of why Cuba is where it is today.
