July 21, 2009: I received this book as a Father's Day gift, I was very excited to read another book by John Eldredge, several of his books have been life changing. However I was very disappointed to find that this is a condensed version of his book The way of the Wild Heart. On the back of the book in very small print it says contains previously written material. I can't find anything in this book that is new material. It is rather disappointing and smacks of gimmicky marketing. Save yourself some disappointment and don't buy this book, buy Way of the Wild Heart.
