February 17, 2008: Every bad boy has a story to tell, and make no mistake about it, C. J. Leonard, made some horrible mistakes from co-mingling with mobsters as he claims to entertaining women from the kind of elements of life that would make any boy's mama cry. I simply cannot condone this man's past and brush of his life as a piece of cake. He goes at great length to explain his involvement with the Atlanta mafia that reads like a fictitious fairytale, and you really just can't figure out if Fall of the Atlanta Mafia is an outlandish tale or the truth, but it makes for great reading, very informative, entertaining and well written. He names and accuses big names in the music industry of enjoying the hospitality of the mafia 'organized crime', but of course, anyone wined and dined by any event or luxurious escapisms could fall prey, so there is nothing really taken away from the celebs mentioned other than idealism and idolization skillfully crafted in a very controverisal book. I have never even heard of Mayor Michael Childs or Mayor Campbell, but by the end of the book, C. J. Leonard is a married man with children and reformed. A clever story that is intriguing and possibly kept on the hush, hush because of all of the danger elements, but all I have to say is that boys should stop being gangsters and grow the hell up. If C.J. can do it, I guess anyone can. A GREAT READ! My suggestions: Include actual dialogue from interviews to give more validity to this book from those who are involved. One sided- propaganda always leaves doubt with media. In other words, if a book is the hottest news in Georgia, have locals share their reflections in an updated edition of the book.
