July 26, 2008: before i used this book, i hated autocad. i took a cad class for the first time in engineering school. it was just like a foreign language and i was very frustrated and confused. i bought this book and decided to learn by myself this summer. one word...AMAZING. she breaks this difficult program down in a way that allows you to master everything you need and to truly become very confident...i would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn cad. now that i am also finished with this i am gonna start with the advanced version....get this book if you want to learn and master autocad...thank you, thank you, thank you Cheryl
