Synopsis

How much do we really know about the food we eat? We routinely pick up neatly packaged cuts of meat, cartons of milk, eggs, and other goods at the grocery store, giving little thoughts to their origins. Little do we know that a dark world of unclean, unethical, and often horrifying production lurks beneath the pristine appearance of our store-bought food. Actions that we would never knowingly support are being driven by our consumer dollars.

Customer Rating for this product is 4 out of 5 Good book
Ashley, A reviewer, 09/04/2008

I enjoyed this book. It has a lot of good information from good sources. It was a little repetative at times though. However, other times they would refer to a person that they introduced earlier and our memories would not be refreshed on exactly who the people were. Overall, I definatly recommend this book for all meat eaters and non meaters alike.
