May 16, 2009: I was afraid that this book wasnt going to be what I wanted. But when I got it I fell in love with it. It has everything you need to know. From care to riding. Great addition to add to your personal "horse library". This is great for eveyone!!! Most people dont like reading about the hore ancestors and just want to get to other stuff and this is great for that! It does have a LITTLE section for that and thats just what I wanted! Overall, its great! I recomend it for horse owners and just horse lovers. And im one of the horse lovers. Hoping to get my own horse soon!

March 04, 2009: This book is great for the novice to the well informed. It is a great source of information for a horse owner. I loved the illustrations and great color pictures.
