January 08, 2007: Ayurveda used to be Greek to me until a friend gifted me this book. From the first page onwards, I was totally hooked. The book is truly a great primer to Ayurveda, explaining it in such an easy and convincing manner that even the worst skeptic has to be impressed. I now request for warm water at restaurants and try to wake up 15 minutes earlier than I used to. I eat my salads lightly cooked and don't watch gory movies at bedtime. What a difference these small things have made. I cannot recommend this book enough.

It works because after reading just the first few chapters, you want to actually try out the ayurvedic routine. And the recipes...yum!!'
