December 26, 2008: This was a great book. These books have great characters. The books are set on earth fighting aliens. I can't wait for the rest of the series, we only get one book a year.

March 14, 2008: Mr. Stephen has outdone himself. His first story in the Epic series was a fantastic and easy read - a sci-fi book that hits you with faith, military strategy and dramatic prose as well. This story picks up where that left off, and brings out-of-the-blue plot twists that left me yelling out loud. Unpredictable, dynamic character development and a story line that is so real you feel like you're there. I cannot wait for the third book, and implore B&N to start carrying this author's books in your store!!!
