    October 19, 2009: I recently took the NCE exam and used Rosenthol's book as a guide. After being encouraged by others to purchase this book, I did with the confidence I would do well on the exam. After reading this book twice, answering all questions and learning devices for every theorist and principle listed in the book, the day of the exam, this book did not help me whatsoever. I'm disappointed at the fact that this text is not edited well, the humor gets in the way of learning, and some information in the book is contradictory. If you want to feel prepared for the NCE exam, go to the NCE website and use books suggested by the organization itself.

    May 16, 2009: If you want to pass the CPCE with no trouble, you will use this book! I was so nervous about the test, but this book has the answers. There are also some great CD's that can be purchased with it that also help. I am keeping it around to study for the LPC Exam when the time comes. He provides the information in a review-type format and bases it off of his knowledge of these tests. He uses humor and gives cool tips and hints for remembering things! Now this isn't something you sit down and read in it's entirety in one day for fun, but it serves its purpose WELL! :)
