February 23, 2009: I am very thankful that BN put together these classics. I am an avid history buff as it concerns my heritage. I was born in the south and this series in many ways opens up some of the reasonings for disparity and tension between races. It motivates me to be the best the I can be, knowing that so many struggled to allow me to have the opportunities that I have today. A people who don't know their history, is destined to repeat it. All races can learn from the mistakes and triumphs that were encountered during these eras found in this series. I would recommend this to any reader.
