Jack and Draycos travel to the planet, Brum-a-dum, and encounter an alien race called the Brummgas. Jack poses as a slave in order to access computer files that contain the information he is looking for. With Draycos at his side, Jack and his friend are put through a harrowing experience at the hands of the Brummgas and the evil slavemaster, Gazen, before attempting a suspenseful escape. This is a fast-paced, exciting story that older kids, particularly fans of science-fiction, should enjoy. However, readers who have not read the first two entries in this series may feel a little lost when attempting to follow parts of the story line. 2005, Starscape, Ages 14 to 18.
