    Synopsis

The third exciting adventure in the Dragonback series by Hugo Award-winning author Timothy Zahn.

    Mark Love - Children's Literature

This book is the third in the "Dragonback Adventure" series as it continues to follow the exploits of fourteen-year-old Jack Morgan and his dragon friend, Draycos. In this story, Jack and Draycos are on a quest to determine who was responsible for framing Jack for a crime he did not commit and for conspiring against Draycos's people. Jack and Draycos travel to the planet, Brum-a-dum, and encounter an alien race called the Brummgas. Jack poses as a slave in order to access computer files that contain the information he is looking for. With Draycos at his side, Jack and his friend are put through a harrowing experience at the hands of the Brummgas and the evil slavemaster, Gazen, before attempting a suspenseful escape. This is a fast-paced, exciting story that older kids, particularly fans of science-fiction, should enjoy. However, readers who have not read the first two entries in this series may feel a little lost when attempting to follow parts of the story line. 2005, Starscape, Ages 14 to 18.

May 08, 2008: The Dragonback Series was the best book I have read so far! The funny thing about it is that Jack's personality is basically the same as mine.
