Dracula, Prince of Many Faces reveals the extraordinary life and times of the infamous Vlad Dracula of Romania (1431 - 1476), nicknamed the Impaler. March 25, 2007: historically interesting. there is more than one story here. it's about the invasion by the turks corruption in vlad's local government that led to his brutal murder. the author's are fair i believe. vlad was no more brutal than his contemporaries. so effecient at warefare was vlad, he fought the invading turks to a draw when they invaded his part of europe. fire must be met with worse fire, vlad thought. and as we in america are quickly learning today, he was right.

April 24, 2004: The book was really informative and helped shed light on the historical figure, the part about Richard the III was a bit off, since there is no proof that he killed his nephews, but all around a good book.
