October 10, 2000: This book is invaluable to the needleworker who enjoys many different types of stitching. Lots of clear illustrations, simple but complete descriptions of each stitch, and some attractive project charts are all included. A bit of the stitch info can be repetitive (some are described in the section of that type of needlework, and then described again in the project instructions), but overall, this is a lovely and extremely useful book. A must-have for the serious stitcher and those who love the art form.
