July 19, 2003: The author chronicles her struggles in raising a child with Prader Willi Syndrome in a time when the syndrome itself was just being named and was still certainly not recognized or understood by the medical community, let alone the educational system. She shares with us her feelings and thoughts on the trials and errors she has encountered on this life's journey. Particularly interesting to me were the experiences the author and her daughter have had in their efforts to find suitable living arrangements in adulthood.
