Biography

Patty Debowski founder of TheDigitalScrapbookTeacher.com, is an accomplished scrapbooker of more than 30 years. After seeing a beautiful digital layout in a magazine, Patty tried to find a digital scrapbooking book or class for Photoshop Elements, with no luck. Without any graphics arts training herself, trying to learn to digi-scrap was almost impossible and required endless hours of surfing the web and reading all of the traditional computer books that didn't deal with scrapbooking. Unable to find anywhere that she could learn digital scrapbooking with Photoshop Elements, she volunteered to teach a class at her local Adult Education school with a friend. Along the way, Patty discovered many frustrated scrappers who loved buying the beautiful magazines with the great digital scrapbooking pages, but who wanted a book that would explain exactly how to get the same results.
