August 24, 2009: As a new surgical pathology attending fresh out of fellowship, I was referred to this book by one of the senior dermpath attendings at work. So far, I have found the book to be very useful as a quick reference for small skin biopsies particularly the inflammatory disorders of which I have had limited exposure to as a pathology resident. It is not the most comprehensive but as a quick reference with large decent color pictures, it is quite handy and well worth the price.

July 21, 2009: A great book. Dr. Elston wrote this for the resident. Everything you need to know for residency and boards for sure. GREAT pictures, and the best part of all... the online lectures. If your residency is like mine and there is not much teaching, Dr. Elston will teach you with the lecture series that accompanies every book. What a great person to learn from! I love the memory tools and narratives to help you remember things. Can't say enough. Awesome. Never met him, don't know him, but he taught me everything I need to know about derm path with this book.
