March 09, 2009: The design and project ideas in this quilt book are terrific. Denyse Schmidt has taken a traditional art form and given quilts a boost in color, design and form. Most of the projects could be completed by anyone who has quilted before - some are easy and others a little more involved. Her designs are unique and you won't see quilts like these anywhere else. I love this book and have used some of the ideas for large and small projects. It's part of my permanent quilt library. Even if you don't quilt this book is great eye candy.
