October 26, 2009: I always have a self-help book on my nightstand, but few are as complete and as beautifully written as "Deep Medicine." Dr. Stewart addresses mind, body and spirit without putting himself in the position of guru...which is so, so refreshing. I finished the book feeling particularly self-empowered and centered...ready to take on improving the whole of my wellness without that overwhelmed feeling I usually have after reading similar material. It isn't a quick fix - it's a healthy LIFE book. My mother and cousin loved it too!
