    June 01, 2009: Everyone can use some help these days in learning how to handle the tangled web of consumer credit. This book has some insightful information on how the industry works. It claims that you will be able to get out of debt and repair your credit score on your own if you follow the steps in the book. In typical Trudeau fashion reminiscent of his Natural Cures book, the biggest portion of the book is recanting stories of how bad the government and industry executives are, how they are in bed together, how they operate and how they are out to screw everybody else. These statements may be true, but the need to repeat these statements ad nauseum, throughout the book, can get annoying. Far too little time is spent on giving you the "keys" or "steps" to repairing and ending your financial troubles. I will give kudos to the tips that are in the book, once you find them. They are very good, but they do not release any new, groundbreaking secrets that most anyone should already know. If you are starting out in this credit crazy world, this would be a good starting point. Learn these steps to keep on the right track. Overall I would rate this a "B".
