Biography

Author, speaker, and pastor, Don Piper has been serving in full-time ministry since 1984. Most recently, he served at First Baptist Church , Pasadena , Texas , where he was responsible for leading the education ministry for nearly 11,000 members.

Following a tragic car accident in 1989, in which Don was declared "dead on the scene," he was miraculously revived twice and has been in recovery since that time. Already 34 surgical procedures have taken place -- and he walks only as a result of miraculous and in some cases medically unexplainable circumstances.

Don graduated from Louisiana State University in Radio and Television Broadcasting, has worked extensively in broadcasting, and also graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.

His testimony of his death experience, visit to Heaven's gates, struggle to regain his health, and triumphant ministry have thrilled and enraptured hundreds of thousands around the world. Don brings healing to hurting hearts with his powerful message of finding "a new normal." His dramatic life story simply must be experienced to be believed.

Don and his wife Eva are the parents of Nicole, and twin sons Christopher and Joseph.
