March 23, 2009: I looked around for many cupcake books and while I was drawn to some that were just as picture perfect as this one, they were a bit too technical or complicated. I am a someone who likes to make delicious and simple things, but wants them to look great and be fun. This is the book! The recipes are so simple and very versatile and I already have made up my own signature cupcakes based on the basic recipes inside. The book is broken into easy sections and the photos are terrific. I have given the book as a gift to a friend who bakes all the time for her kids (everyone loves it) and to my other friend's son who just turned seven and is a dynamo in the kitchen. I don't think you'd be disappointed at all.
