August 08, 2008: I have been suffering from OCD my entire life and finally decided to get help. I have been taking meds and also have weekly sessions with my doctor. When I needed something more to help me cope with the daily rituals I got this book. It really has helped me with my OCD in just a few days. I have been able to cut down the amount of time that I spend on rituals and fighting the unwanted thoughts or as OCD is called in the book, doomsayer. This book is excellent for someone that has just been diagnosed with OCD, it was written in plain English, not in medical jargon.
