November 20, 2009: I was so excited to get this book after watching the show on tv. I mainly have been using the book as inspiration for weekly meals; especially if I do not have some of the specific ingredients on-hand. But, I decided to try a few recipes as they were written. Boy, was that a mistake. In general, I think the ingredient measurements are all a bit off. I also think the flavor profiles are a bit lacking. Specifically, I made the buffalo chicken salad and my chicken did not taste anything like what I would have expected. Overall, I think it would be best to just take a more common-sense approach to cooking yourself thin by preparing your meals with healthier ingredients and/or only eating half of what you would normally eat.

November 12, 2009: I was inspired to start working on my own recipes; cutting fat and the dreaded 'calorie'. This is a good start for people who need a little push at seeing how they can healthy up a recipe. I would have liked more recipes. Over all a Good book; it just lacked something for me to rate it at the top.
