December 07, 2000: If you are a beginning skier, or an intermediate level skier looking to improve, or don't have access to an instructor, This is a great book to pick up. It is very well written from an instruction point of view. It has great pictures that follow along with the step by step instructions. Also it is very concise but still very complete. It covers the basics of all the different forms of skiing as well as having a very complete conditioning and nutrition guide. All in all it is an excellent book and small enough that you can throw in the boat when you hit the lake.
