Accomplished professionals, the authors cover crucial beginning topics, such as setup, technique, color theory, texture, and light in depth. Their format is crisp and easy to understand, even when concerned with advanced concepts like liquefying pigment, building up foundation color, and the effects of water reflections, coarse linen, or intricate lace.
