September 30, 2009: My 7 month old actually crawled up to this book in Barnes and Noble and pulled it off the shelf. We bought it for him and ever since, it is by far his favorite book. He LOVES the tractor noise and lights on the last page. His eyes get big and his eyebrows raise up and he starts smiling non stop. He also loves to bet the chick and touch the eyes. Great book.

      Scary for a 1 year old!by Anonymous

May 21, 2009: My 1 year old son is frightened of this book because of the tractor sounds that it makes on the last page. The first time I read it to him, he was as happy as can be until we flipped to the last page and the rumbling tractor made it's sound. He burst into tears. Now, if he even sees the book, he moves to the opposite end of the room until it is put out of sight. I guess it will go into hiding until he is quite a bit older.
