    Synopsis

The all-new official guide to the Body-for-LIFE Challenge, a 12-week journey of personal transformation that has changed the lives of millions.

People discover in just 12 weeks—by working out less than 4 hours a week and eating small, balanced meals—that they have the power to change their bodies, their minds, their lives. Body-for-LIFE may begin with 12 weeks, but it lasts a lifetime.

Champions Body-for-LIFE is based on the original proven principles of the Body-for-LIFE challenge with the addition of:

    • New exercise options
    • How to stay on the program while traveling and during holidays
    • Goal-setting strategies and the power of keeping a journal
    • Expanded authorized food lists
    • And more!

July 21, 2008: This is the first diet related book I have ever read from cover to cover. The actual accounts from people who participated in the Challenge were inspiring, as well as the before and after photos. The workout schedule seems rigorous, but it is definitely do-able. The only downfall to the program is the utilization of EAS and Myoplex products. If you can't tolerate artificial sweeteners or food coloring, these products are not for you. I've tried some of the products and became ill from using them. The shakes and bars are not as tasty as the book proclaims them to be. Remember, this book is partially advertisement for the company that produces these products. Eat healthy, watch your carbohydrate and sugar intake, and follow the workout plan. You should still see great results even if you can't officially enroll in the Challenge.
