    Biography

    Amy Wax is the brains behind Your Color Source Studios, Inc., a color-consulting firm in Montclair, New Jersey. With a B.F.A. in illustration from Syracuse University, Amy has studied color theory and uses that expertise when working with clients. She has followed the trends of color for over 25 years. Family ties to the real-estate business have kept her working closely with building professionals since the early 1980s.

     

    Amy’s experience includes color consulting for both residential and commercial projects. Recognized for her color prowess, she has been selected to serve on the Residential Design Advisory Council for Benjamin Moore and continues to serve on the editorial advisory committee for the company's Ensemble magazine. Examples of her work have been featured in numerous other publications, as well. Her first book, Can't Fail Color Schemes, was published by Creative Homeowner in 20078. Amy resides in Montclair with her husband, Denis, and three children.
