Synopsis

Meet Emma Corrigan, a young woman with a huge heart, an irrepressible spirit, and a few little secrets: Secrets from her boyfriend: I’ve always thought Connor looks a bit like Ken. As in Barbie and Ken. Secrets from her mother: I lost my virginity in the spare bedroom with Danny Nussbaum while Mum and Dad were downstairs watching Ben-Hur. Secrets she wouldn’t share with anyone in the world: I have no idea what NATO stands for. Or even what it is. Until she spills them all to a handsome stranger on a plane. At least, she thought he was a stranger.…Until Emma comes face-to-face with Jack Harper, the company’s elusive CEO, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her...

The Washington Post

… Kinsella succeeds on her own terms: Her dialogue is sharp, even her minor characters are well drawn, and her parody of the marketing world is very funny. — Susan Coll

Read It All In One Go!!by JoannaTX

October 15, 2008: I was returning from a missions trip to Fiji when I bought this book. Our international flight from Figi to L.A. was delayed 9 hours, and I, along with the rest of the band, was stuck at the airport for 9 hours! It was insane. I'd already devoured all of my reading material several times over (Breaking Dawn & The Host - both very good). Then since we missed our accompanying flight from L.A. to Dallas, we were stuck on standby. I didn't catch a flight until 8 hours later! During that time I read a Mary Higgins Clark thriller and this charming book which I finished right as we landed in Dallas. Absolutely loved it! Very cute. Perfect for a rainy day - or 40 hours spent at airport or planes. ;)

I Also Recommend: Music and Lyrics, The Host, Northpointe Chalet, I Heard That Song Before, Pride and Prejudice (Barnes & Noble Classics Series).

September 30, 2008: It's not everyday I find a book that has me laughing out loud, but this one sure did!! Kind has a Bridget Jones feel to it. I loved it and have been recommending it to friends ever since!
