She has won numerous national recipe contests, including the grand prize at the National Chicken Cooking Contest and the 2006 Build-a-Better-Burger recipe contest. Her recipes have appeared in Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Vegetarian Times, Cooking Light, Sunset, and other cooking magazines. She lives in Texas.

    October 07, 2009: It has a big variety of cookies - plain to appropriate for an elegant occasion. The recipes speed up preparation significantly. Excellent also for the less experienced cook. I gave them to my daughters and daughters-in-law and they loved it.

    July 19, 2009: I use this book at least once a week. The author is a genius. The recipes are so easy, so delicious, and so creative. People always ask for the recipes! My grandchildren love it, too; the recipes are perfect for children learning to bake.
