    Synopsis

Burglar and bookseller Bernie Rhodenbarr returns when a collector of rarities in New York invites him to check out his rare book collection. Bernie can't resist grabbing some rare stamps on his way out, but as is always the case, it gets more complicated for the exuberant thief-with-a-heart-of-gold, and he finds himself caught up in an adventure surrounding a stolen painting. Block is in peak form with this new entry in the Burglar Who... chronicles.
