Unique features include numerous color photographs, inclusion of clinical implications for most chapters, strong research linkage to clinical practice, and extensive references. This is an excellent resource for lactation consultants and professionals. Particular strengths are found in the emphasis on clinical practice secondary to research findings. Extensive content is presented in a manner facilitating its use for the lactation consultant. I highly recommend this text.
