May 04, 2009: The methods and excercises in this book have increased my ability to retain and recall information. This is a great progam for beginners who need the aid of implementing a memory method. It's also beneficial to those who would like to bolster techniques to improve their existing memory.

February 16, 2009: As I head toward old age I am concerned to keep my marbles so I bought this book/kit on sale. To be honest I am not very far into it yet so maybe I shouldn't be pronouncing judgement. Based on what I've read so far, here are some comments: It is a mystery why scientists can't figure out ways to boost intelligence they way they can boost strength, speed and agility or (they claim) cure depression with pills. Maybe there's not enough money in it. This book annoyed me because on one page the author speaks as if the goal is to keep you from LOSING your intelligence and memory and on the next page he speaks as if you can INCREASE them. Or, he talks in terms of REGAINING what you have lost. He doesn't seem to be aware that he is equivocating between three distinct claims. He also cites some inspiring heresay, such as listening to Mozart boosting your IQ, which subsequent investigation has cast doubt on. Nonetheless, people who are mired in fatalism regarding their eventual mental decline will derive inspiration and, probably, concrete benefits from this book. If you have more money to spend on such a project, there are a lot of alternative products using CD-ROMs that may be more effective, but I really have no business saying until I complete the course. For all I know now it could be just as good or better.
