      Synopsis

BDSM is the incredible odyssey of Zack Simms--a burnt-out 44-year old cab driver who leads a double life. In the daylight hours, he is your average working stiff-an overworked and self-medicating alcoholic who's married to a beautiful and devoted woman; at night, he becomes an insatiable fiend to a powerful dominatrix named Sadie Sunshine. The tall, striking, severely depressed woman becomes the desperately needed lubricant for Zack's stiff existence. Her amazing skills-and her machines-frees Zack's inhibitions; she thaws his numbed body to strange and uncontrollable urges, where both pleasure and violence dissolve into one.

      March 26, 2009: ** This review is for BDSM Part 1 & 2 : Zack's Odyssey~

The book is broken down into Parts 1 & 2, but it is really one book!

Zack is a cab driver, an alcoholic cab driver w/ an insatiable taste for fried chicken (he eats fried chickend constantly throughout both books) who is married, but is bored at home with his wife Ann. One day he meets Sadie and starts to have an affair w/ her.

Sadie introduces Zack to bondage, discipline, sadism and masochism! She is a very depressed, very unbalanced person herself. Zack eventually takes a liking to beating Sadie senseless on a regular basis and she doesn't mind!

Overall it is a decent story, the writing gets a little tedious at times, with the author over-describing things. Way too many street names!

Two things I didn't really understand in this book, were the few pages where the character Johnnie plays a part and the robot cab drivers in Part 2??

Sadie is the dominant character besides Zack in Part 1, she plays a small role in Part 2! In Part 2, Zack is trying to put his marriage back together & get his job back on track.

The overall ending is wild and twisted!

This book is filled w/ extreme sex and sick, twisted and very perverted things! If you are easily offended, do not even look in this book! If you enjoy that sort of thing, pick up a copy for yourself here or contact the author at www.lusiphersbooks.com

** I read this novel as a favor to the author~

March 09, 2009: This is a strange, but entertaining, debut from a writer who calls himself Lusipher. Kind of hard to rate, because of the offbeat tone and subject matter. In a nutshell, a guy named Zack Simms, who also happens to be an alcoholic, becomes sexually obsessed with a mentally disturbed and depressed vixen named Sadie Sunshine. Somehow, the author draws some type of perverted analogy between alcoholism and the protagonists kinky and disturbingly ultraviolent relationship with the vixen who calls herself Sadie Sunshine. This book will offend a lot of people but the vision and daring of the author are undeniable. This book pushes the envelope of free speech and is a strong candidate for titles that probably should be censored. Read at your own risk!

I Also Recommend: Clockwork Orange, Fight Club, Hogg.
