August 17, 2009: This book was incredibly too graphic. My grand-daughter enjoys vampire stories and if she had ordered this book, nothing would have prevented her from reading it. It was filled with intense, graphic, grossly detailed sex scenes, as well as depictions of "sons of Satan" and how they became that way. It should be rated as adult only and should not be able to be ordered by anyone under 18. I refused to read it after discovering it was more than just a vampire story - too much more.

August 02, 2009: This book was ok. I had a hard time - at times - following the time sequences and who was telling the story. I didn't realize that two other books came before this one, so I was lost with any references and parts of the plot that correlated with them. The spicy scenes were well written and definitely caliente. I liked the idea behind the story line, but thought the overall book needed to be executed better. I really wasn't fond of Miranda, but her characters grew on me as she lost her innocent act (quite quickly, mind you). My favorite of the vampires had to be Lukos - I liked his background and general attitude better (he was saucier). It was a good read, but it's not one I'd have ants in my pants for my friend Becca to read.
