Remy's incredibly culinary instincts let him knows the soup is going to taste bad, so he fixes it. Of course, it is a hit. Soon, Linguini and Remy work out a way of cooking together. Linguini becomes a famous chef, but it is Remy who does the real cooking. It all works out, and both Linguini and Remy achieve what they desire.
