March 31, 2009: Cliff Atkinson provides an easy to implement strategy for quickly building presentations that engage your audience and clearly get your point across. He builds upon the classic outline method of creating an essay, applying this concept to the multi-media presentation world using power point.
I have personally used his method 4 times now to develop the "story" for online learning courses (not a traditional presentation) with great success. The storytemplate provided me with a way to capture key points and make the online courses as clear and succinct as possible.In addition to the book, Atkinson provides online tools and ongoing learning opportunities at his website www.beyondbulletpoints.com. The annual fee for membership on his site is $25/year but you can also access many useful free tools as well.I Also Recommend: Presentation Zen, Slide.
