One of the 2 best books on b-school applicationsby Anonymous

August 05, 2009: I've read 10 books on business school application. Chioma's is one of the two best (65 successful harvard business school essays is the other).

Chioma's book is sharp, crisp, and to the point. I recommend it to people as a 1 book for all purpose as well as a deep dive on branding. Examples in the book are relevant and up to date.

Her insights as former admissions officer are invaluable and not available in other book. Particularly, helpful are her suggestions on building a strong brand and emphasizing the "why" in your essays (as opposed to the what).

In short, I loved the book and even signed up for a 10h package of her admissions consulting services. Everybody serious about getting into HBS should take a look!

May 18, 2009: By far the best book I've ever read, compared to other books, it's less indepth, but to the point, the book does a very good job by keeping you engaged, the writer is very illustrative by examples of individual cases, the best thing about this book is the "personal brand audit". I feel every individual interested in B-school must complete this part. The book also explains how to prepare the B-school application through a case by case method which I think was extremely helpful. The book is worth the money.
