BAM! Picture yourself in the cage with Randy Couture standing toe to toe fighting, and thousands of blood thirsty fans watching to see who will be the top contender. This and more happens in ?Becoming the Natural? by Randy Couture.
Randy Couture is a hard working wrestler and UFC fighter with many goals to achieve in his career, but there are many things distracting him and things in his way. He has to cut weight, his family is rough, and of course his opponents. But with his heart and love of the sport he has a great chance to make it.
In Becoming the Natural: My Life In and Out of the Cage, is about Randy Couture growing up as a child in Washington not having the best times. How him and his wife go through rough times of having a baby at a young age. And it talks about how he served our country in the army and how he?s wrestled for them. One day he sent a few videos of him wrestling to the UFC. Next thing you know he got a phone call and was asked to fight Tony Halme in the UFC 13. After he has won a few fights he is now gaining more and more fans, but will he be the best of the best?
This is a great autobiography of a man who went from teaching wrestling to being the main event of the night. This book shows that you can accomplish anything with enough hard work. This book made me never want to put it down. This is a great book because it?s about my favorite sport and not alone my favorite fighter, so if you?re into this stuff then read it! There are a few parts in the book with bad language and violence. I would have to rate it a five out of five.
