Best book I have seen on the transition to a leadership function

This book covers the thought process for people debating the transition from an individual performer to a technical leader better than any other source I have seen. I purchased this book when it first came out and reread it over the holidays (since I was about to recommend it for someone else to read). It was more valuable to me now than it was 15 years ago.
A great book for people who wonder what they have to worry about as they move from the instantaneous gratification of programming to the nebulous world of working (and delivering value) through others.
