    Biography

    Kelly Devries is Professor of History at Loyola College in Maryland. He is the author of several books, including Medieval Military Technology, Infantry Warfare in the Early Fourteenth Century, Joan of Arc: A Military Leader, and Guns and Men in Medieval Europe.

    Martin J. Dougherty is a freelance writer and editor specializing in military and defense topics. His published works deal with subjects ranging from the history of small arms to naval warfare and private security. He has previously contributed to Battles of the Ancient World and Battles of the American Civil War.

    Christer Jorgensen graduated with a Ph.D from University College, London. An expert on military history, Christer has published various books on the history of European warfare. He is based in London, England. He has previously contributed to Battles of the Medieval World and Battles of the Crusades.

    Chris Mann holds a Ph.D from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, UK. He is an editor and author of more than 20 years’ experience who writes on defense and military topics. He specializes in the history of twentieth century warfare.

    Chris McNab is an editor and writer on military topics who has contributed to more than 50 titles over the last 12 years. He has written extensively on military history, weapons technology, and military strategy. He has previously contributed to Battles of the American Civil War.
