(Paperback - REV)
Faking his own death and creating an underworld civilization, Bruce Wayne has been keeping his eye on the world above. And as that false Camelot reaches it's breaking point, it is up to the Dark Knight to emerge from the underground shadows and once again restore order to chaos.
His brutal yet elegant noir rendering, pulpy yet eloquent scripting, and thoughly uncompromising attitude make him one of the most distinctive voices in comics

June 01, 2004: I just finished this book and can't understand the negative reviews it has gotten. I thought it was great. I read the trade edition, which may have had more cohesion than the individual books, and I didn't bring any preconceived expectations when I started it. I know a lot of people anxiously awaited this and were disappointed when it finally arrived. I'll admit, it's not The Dark Knight Returns but then that work redefined Batman and changed the genre forever. This is just a terrific story, which for me is good enough.

February 08, 2004: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns is a fantastic book, but the sequel is less than satisfying. I is extremly hard to follow and jumps around for apparently no reason what so ever. If you are new to comic books or new to Batman there are much better titles to read. The only reason I would recomend this title to anyone is if they really want to see what it is about. The ending was horrific. The story line had potental, but it seems Miller did not spend as much time on it as it required. Read at you own risk.
