Biography

Marilyn H. Oermann, PhD, RN, FAAN, is a Professor in the College of Nursing at Wayne State University. She is the author/co-authoir of eleven nursing education books and many articles on clinical evaluation, teaching in nursing, and writing for publication as a nurse educator. She is the editor of the Annual Review of Nursing Education (Annual, Springer Publishing Company) and Journal of Nursing Care Quality. Dr. Oermann lectures widely on teaching and evaluation in nursing.

Kathleen T. Heinrich, PhD, RN, is the principal of KTH Consulting in Guilford, Connecticut, helping faculty groups become passionate scholars. Based on her 25 years as a university professor and 15 years of studying how nurses become scholars, Dr. Heinrich is writing a book entitled Share What You Do: An Experiential Guidebook for Nurses
