June 06, 2009: The Animal Boogie is an beautifully illustrated book that allows children to become involved in the story. I use it at story time nearly every week and the kids just love it. The author uses vivid illustrations that includes children from all walks of life. The kids love to shout out the animal from the clues and to act out the movement and of course to "Boogie". Great for Pre School, for a movement lesson, or to use for any animal theme in the classroom.
I Also Recommend: Thesaurus Rex, Bear in a Square, Bear on a Bike, Creepy Crawly Calypso, Walking Through the Jungle.
