November 29, 2009: I, like many others, made the right choice by reading The Da Vinci Code before Angels and Demons. After reading The Da Vinci Code I was convinced that I had just read the best book ever written. When I finished Angels and Demons I realized that I had been wrong. Angels and Demons is definitly one of the best books ever written. For me it was one of those books that you never want to put down. The author kept me wanting to know what was going to happen throughout the entire book. I liked how the plot kept you guessing. In certain parts of the book I thought I had everything all figured out about the plot and the good and bad characters, but then I would read the next chapter and be right back to not knowing anything. However I didn't like how the author went from the point of view of one character to the next because it would sometimes get confusing. Robert Langdon is definitly my favorite character in the book. Both in The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons he is very intelligent and always, ALWAYS figures out the code or hidden message in every situation he is put into. I don't like how in each book there is a different girl that Robert ends up liking. It leaves me wondering where the last girl went and why she left. I beleive that Dan Brown is an excellent writer. He uses a lot of descriptions and sometimes even uses images to share his story with the reader so that they know how to understand it. To sum everything up, Angels and Demons is a well written, extremely suspensful thriller that a lot of people, including myself, will enjoy.

November 27, 2009: Having just read one of John LeCarre's books, I picked Angels and Demons up. I read more interesting books as a 10 year old. They style is so boring and the plot so linear that it's really hard to believe somebody could make a million bucks with this kind of simplistic product.
