March 08, 2009: This book is loaded with a lot of excellent information on diabetes, its care, prevention, and life style change recommendations. Being diagnosed as pre-diabetic, I've lived with this book for months. It's helping me lower my sugars and learn to live a healthier existence. I've dropped 25 pounds due to proper food and exercise management. This is amazing coming from a couch potato. It's a must read for everyone, even if you are not diabetic!

March 02, 2009: My husband has diabetes and this gave us insight on how to deal with the disease and how to use instruments in treating diabetes. This was more of a "how-to" book rather than in giving information on what to eat and what to stay away from. All in all I still recommend it for anyone with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes who has no knowledge of the disease and how to treat it.
