September 22, 2009: I love these romances with Christmas themes! The Proper Lover was my first time reading a book/novella based in Regency England but I thoroughly enjoyed it and would not mind reading more!

November 10, 2000: All I Want For Christmas is a Christmas-themed anthology featuring authors Lori Foster, Dee Holmes, Kinley MacGregor and Eileen Wilks. Christmas Bonus by Lori Foster is by far the best one out of the four. Eric and Maggie are likeable and the plot believable. Lori Foster has got writing anthologies down to an art form and any author considering doing one should see Ms Fosters' to see how to do it the right way. Maggie and Eric have been attracted to each other for years, she was waiting for him to notice her and he was waiting for her to grow up. When Maggies' father dies she inherits the company where Eric works and he feels that if he acts on his attraction that everyone would feel he slept his way to the top. The Proper Lover by Eileen Wilks is about a young woman who goes to a neighbors house to sneak in the house of a renowned rake to make her family think she is ruined so she doesnt have to marry one of the two men that was chosen for her. The characters were likeable and it was funny the way the hero tried to protect her from himself. Santa Wears Spurs is about a man who leaves his wife and returns after 5 years. He comes back without an explanation and she forgives him way too quickly. A Night With Emily reunites old lovers at the family home of Emilys' former lover. She is housesitting and he doesnt know she is there and goes there to plot revenge, but it falls through when he sees Emily again. The story either dragged in places or all of a sudden it switched gears and sped up. The four stars of this book goes Christmas Bonus, which is worth the price of the book alone.
